Position in Brief
In the Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (Automate) role, the candidate will focus on the testing and quality assurance of our telemedicine platform, specifically designed for dermatology services, and our associated beauty deal marketplace. The ideal candidate will lead the development and implementation of our QA automation pipeline, ensuring the highest quality standards for our innovative digital healthcare solutions. This position is vital for advancing healthcare technology and directly impacts patient well-being and trust in our services.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts for end-to-end testing of telemedicine platforms, ensuring high reliability and performance
- Collaborating with the development and product teams to understand requirements and incorporate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for faster deployment cycles
- Leading the automation strategy, including selecting appropriate tools and technologies for both the telemedicine business and its white-label offerings
- Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA in the US) and standards in automated testing processes to safeguard patient data
- Conducting automated performance, load, and stress testing to simulate real-world usage conditions of the telemedicine platform
- Identifying, tracking, and prioritizing bugs and issues discovered through automated tests, and working closely with development teams for resolution
- Providing mentorship and guidance to junior QA team members in automation practices and maintaining documentation for automated testing systems and processes
- Staying updated with the latest trends in QA automation, telemedicine technology, and healthcare regulations to improve testing strategies and tools continuously
- Analyzing test results, generating detailed reports on the quality and reliability of the telemedicine platform, and recommending improvements based on insights gained from automated testing
Qualification
- Key Requirement
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in QA automation
- High proficiency in
- Automation testing tools, particularly Appium
- scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests
- Demonstrated ability to lead the automation strategy, including selecting appropriate tools and technologies
- Ability to analyze test results, generate detailed reports, and provide actionable recommendations
- It’s a plus, if you have
- Previous experience in the telemedicine or healthcare sector, understanding specific challenges and requirements
- Previous experience leading a team of QA engineers or leading QA automation projects, demonstrating project management and mentorship skills
