Position in Brief

In the Senior QA Engineer(Automate) role, the candidate will lead the establishment and execution of an automated testing framework, enhancing software reliability and efficiency by transitioning from manual to automated processes. This role has been developed in response to our commitment to technological advancement and the need to optimize our testing processes, offering an opportunity for significant professional impact in a growing and innovating environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up an automated test pipeline.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for robust software quality.
• Support the transition from manual testing to automated testing.
• Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases based on requirements.
• Track and resolve bugs to ensure system and platform stability.
• Conducting thorough manual testing and creating detailed test reports
• Collaborating closely with developers, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality products
• Executing tests according to defined scenarios
• Utilize performance and load testing tools.

Qualification

• Key Requirement
  • At least 3 years of QA experience with a minimum of 1 year in automated testing
  • Proven experience in setting up an automated test pipeline (50% manual 50% automated will be considered.)
  • Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
  • Experience in supporting or executing the transition from manual testing to automated testing.
  • Ability to develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for tracking and resolving bugs to ensure system and platform stability.
• It’s a plus, if you have
  • Proficiency in additional automated testing tools and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and quality assurance methodologies.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into the development workflow.
