Position in Brief

In the Senior DevOps Engineer role, plays a crucial part in maintaining the availability, reliability, and security of the e-learning platform, contributing to a seamless learning experience for users nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and security of the e-learning platform
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the software development lifecycle, ensuring rapid and reliable release of features and updates
  • Implement monitoring tools to track system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize for peak efficiency
  • Enforce security best practices, conduct regular security audits, and respond promptly to any security vulnerabilities
  • Work closely with software developers to understand their needs and provide DevOps support for development activities
  • Ensure that all processes and deployments are properly documented and compliant with industry standards and regulations
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and backup strategies to ensure data integrity and availability
• Stay updated with the latest DevOps tools and technologies, and explore new solutions to enhance the performance and capabilities of the platform
• Provide technical support to users and internal teams, and conduct training sessions for new tools or processes

Qualification

• Key Requirement

  • A minimum 4 years of experience in DevOps, both in cloud infrastructure management and automated CI/CD
  • Demonstrated high-proficiency in any programming and scripting language
    • This proficiency will be validated via assignment coding challenge
  • Proven solid experience in
    • Design and maintain availability, scalability in cloud infrastructure (example, AWS, Azure, GCP)
    • Design and implement automated CI/CD and demonstrate how you collaborate with development team to understand their need

• It’s a plus, if you have

  • Prior experience working with online e-learning platforms or educational technology
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field
  • Professional certifications like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Docker Certified Associate, or Kubernetes Certification completed within the last three years
  • Evidence of leading a team or managing large-scale projects, quantified by project size or team size
