Position in Brief

In the Senior Cloud Engineer role, the candidate will drive the development and optimization of cloud infrastructure, ensuring secure, efficient, and scalable solutions align with client needs and architectural designs. This position has been created to support our company’s growth and expansion in cloud solutions, aimed at enhancing our capabilities and meeting the increasing demand for advanced cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and implement large-scale cloud infrastructure in alignment with the cloud solution architect’s design
• Understand and gather requirements from clients across various industries
• Redesign and optimize IT infrastructure for cloud services, focusing on security, network, and system components
• Translate IT solution requirements into practical cloud computing environment architectures
• Manage, guide, and communicate with junior cloud engineers to ensure effective delivery according to timelines and expectations

Qualification

• • Key Requirement

    • At least 3 years of experience in cloud engineering with the system, security, infrastructure, cloud operation, or on-premise background
    • Proficient hands-on experience in implementing cloud infrastructure and architecture in at least 1 of 3 services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
    • Solid proof of cloud knowledge and expertise with at least associate level or above of cloud certification
    • Adept in implementing, configuring, and optimizing security and network infrastructure for cloud architecture
    • Strong experience in
      • virtualization technologies (Vmware, etc.)
      • containerization (Docker)
      • orchestration (Kubernetes)
      • infrastructure, and IT operation
    • Adept in environment configuration and code optimization
    • Good communication and solution-delivery skill

  • It’s a plus, if you have
    • Professional level of cloud certification (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
    • 2 or more understanding or experience of cloud service
    • experience in cloud presales or cloud solution consultants
    • A fast-adapted and lifelong learner of new technologies
    • Experience in simple Server (Compute) to solutions such as Auto-scaling, Storage, Backup, High Availability, Disaster Recovery, etc
